SE EM (tin-plated), SE EM.W (non-tin-plated) and DIN EM (according to DIN 46267) copper tubular cable connectors are used for butt-joining conductors of the same cross-section. The use of pipe connectors increases the safety of the connection and its durability. It is important to remember that this type of connection cannot be mechanically loaded.
All copper pipe fittings distributed by TRYTYT undergo an additional process of hardening and firing at 700°C. This process removes all impurities from the material from which the fitting is made. Unlike non-hardened fittings, hardened fittings are less prone to cracks and micro-cracks during pressing, and thus have better working parameters.
Efficiency of crimping (fixing the connector on the cable) depends on the use of the appropriate tool and the die adapted to the cross-section.
