The MIC-5005 meter provides the following measurements:
Unique algorithms have been used in the new family of Sonel insulation meters, which enable recognition of the nature of the voltage present on the object, thanks to which the device can determine whether this voltage is mains voltage - then the measurement will not be performed or whether it is the voltage generated by the electromagnetic field - then the measurement will be performed. This makes it possible to carry out measurements in the presence of very strong electromagnetic fields, where it was previously impossible.
An important parameter of the device is the maximum measured insulation resistance value of 15 TΩ. The maximum measuring current is 1.2 mA or 3 mA, which guarantees charging a large-capacity object in a short time. Each measurement, both in the case of the programmed time lapse or manual interruption, ends with the meter discharging the object.
The device is equipped with accessories that guarantee safety during measurements with all available voltages - both test leads, probes and and crocodiles meet extremely stringent standards (guaranteed voltage strength up to 11 kV for test leads and 5.5 kV for crocodiles and test probes).
The device's high resistance to interference made it possible to use test leads with a length of up to 20 m.
Measurement results can be saved to the built-in memory with a capacity of 990 cells (11880 entries). Data from the memory can be transmitted to a PC via a USB cable or wirelessly via an additional OR-1 (USB) adapter.
Measurement category: CAT III 1000V (CAT IV 600V)
