Tin plated copper butt joint 120mm² SE EM-120

The SE EM (tin-plated), SE EM.W (non-tin-plated) and DIN EM (according to DIN 46267) copper tubular cable connectors are used for butt-joining wires of the same cross-section. The use of pipe connectors increases the safety of the connection and its durability. It is important to remember that this type of connection cannot be mechanically loaded.

All copper pipe fittings distributed by TRYTYT undergo an additional process of hardening and firing at 700°C. This process removes any impurities from the fitting material. Hardened fittings, as opposed to non-hardened ones, are less exposed to cracks and micro-cracks during pressing, and thus have better working parameters.

Efficiency of crimping (fixing the connector on the cable) depends on the use of an appropriate tool and a die adapted to the cross-section.
