The manual button is designed to activate the ”Fire protection switch”, which will disconnect the building's power supply from the electricity source during a fire during a rescue operation. Fire protection switch, cuts off the power supply to all circuits, with the exception of circuits supplying the installation and equipment, the functioning of which is necessary during a fire, should be used in fire zones with a cubic capacity exceeding 1000 m3; or contain hazardous areas. The fire-fighting power switch should be placed near the main entrance to the facility or properly marked connector. Cutting off the power supply with the fire-fighting switch may not cause automatic switching on of the second source of electricity, including the generating set. The exceptions are power sources for electrical equipment that must function during a fire. The set includes a self-adhesive plate: “Fire protection switch”. The PWP1 manual push button can be used as a ”Fire protection switch” provided that a plate is placed above it: “Fire-fighting power switch”. The PWP1 manual start button with double LED signaling provides information about the position of the actuator contacts: 1. Green diode – interruption of power supply 2. Red LED – activation of the circuit breaker.
