HDT-A series thick-walled heat-shrinkable tubes are made of cross-linked polyolefins. The inner side of the pipes is covered with a layer of thermoplastic glue. This adhesive is applied during the pipe forming process, resulting in a very smooth and uniform layer along the length of the pipe, ensuring a perfect seal. The shrink ratio up to 4:1 guarantees a wide range of applications, and the thickness of the pipe after shrinking up to 4 mm ensures very good insulation parameters and high mechanical resistance. The HDT-A series of heat shrink tubing provides a resilient and flexible seal and protection for cable connections. They are used to restore insulation in cables up to 1kV and the outer sheath of LV and MV cables. They are self-extinguishing, resistant to UV, chemicals, and provide excellent tightness. They are designed to work in difficult conditions, requiring increased resistance to mechanical damage. Also available in a version without glue as the HDT type.
