The base earth electrode is a rod with a spike, lengths L=1300 or L=1500mm and diameters ?16, ?18, ?20 mm. This is the first vertical grounding element. The appropriately profiled tip (cone) enables the installation of another vertical earthing element - the extension earthing rod - by pressing it in.
