Reducing bridges enable the connection of through connectors for larger cross-sections with connectors for smaller cross-sections, without taking up space for wires. This is an optimal solution when, due to long distances (voltage drop), wires with a larger cross-section are used than it results from the rated load.
Reducing bridging can be done both from the open and closed side of the connector and also simultaneously in both directions. Terminal blocks for smaller conductor cross-sections can be connected in parallel, if necessary, using a saddle jumper.
