SCB is a very important distribution block that the installer should come into contact with when connecting power cables located in both devices and objects. In the case of this product, we can connect cables from 2.5 mm2 to 70 mm2, and cables equipped with a ferrule from 1.5 mm2 to 50 mm2. The feature that distinguishes SCB blocks from all other similar products available on the Polish market is its width. In the case of SCB 25, it is only 17.8 mm. This is a dimension that, when converted to the length of a standard TS 35 rail used in connection cabinets and switchboards, allows for the installation of a larger number of SCBs in a row. This is of great importance when using the space allocated for distribution and branch blocks in the space of each electrical cabinet. Thanks to this, the installer has greater possibilities for freely running cables. Another advantage is the durability of the terminals blocking the cables in the SCB core. Each cable inserted into the SCB is fastened with two grub screws. Using the appropriate screwdriver, a cable with a specific cross-section can be permanently fastened in the innovatively designed core. The design of the SCB housing prevents the screws from falling out. All SCBs can be connected in sections, and three-, four- and five-pole SCBs can additionally be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions. This possibility of positioning the SCB in connection cabinets and switchboards should be appreciated by every installer who encounters certain space deficits in their work. Distribution and branch blocks can also be used by distributors and owners of power networks when connecting objects.
