ALANTEC (SM - Single Mode) 9/125 &m OS2 single-mode cables are characterized by high transmission parameters and low dispersion, and thus very low signal losses. They are used in long-distance signal transmission: wide area telecommunication networks, backbone, CATV, access, campus, WAN, FTTx networks.

Depending on the country, the construction corresponds to the markings:

• A-DQ(ZN)BH

The center of the cable is a central strength element in the form of a plastic core surrounded by loose tubes in which optical fibers are located. The inside of the tubes is filled with a hydrophobic gel, which is an anti-moisture insulation of the fibres. The whole center remains surrounded and secured with plastic and aramid fibers, which are a safe anti-rodent barrier. The green tube is the directional tube.

For use in cable ducts or directly in the ground, in places not exposed to direct mechanical damage.
