MV power cable by Telefonika (catalogue number G-016879) with XLPE XRUHAKXS 1X240/50 insulation is a product intended for the transmission of electricity in lines with a rated voltage not exceeding 12/20 kV.

The product has one aluminum core (made of semi-rigid wires) surrounded by cross-linked and radially sealed polyethylene insulation, and a longitudinally sealed concentric copper screen with a sheath made of high-quality thermoplastic polyethylene. The outer diameter of the cable is 40.3 millimeters. The cross-section of the vein is 240 square millimeters. The product weighs approximately 3.3 kilograms.

The insulation wrap is made of a semi-conductive tape protecting the product against water and moisture. The middle, in turn, is filled with non-conductive tape.

The sheath consists of round copper wires, a helix and a copper tape.

The product performs its function at maximum load up to +90°C. The highest temperature of the working conductor with a five-second short-circuit is +250°C.
