The beginnings of the company date back to the 19th century. In 1886, the company was founded by a resident of Stuttgart, Robert Bosh. Currently, the headquarters of the concern is located in Gerlingen, and the company itself has about 300 subsidiaries and 13,000 production plants located in over 140 countries around the world. In Poland, Bosh was registered in 1991. The company employs about 5,000 people in our country. The company has branches in Warsaw, Wrocław, Rzeszów and Łódź. The largest production division of Bosch is the branch of automotive technology. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of car spare parts and accessories. The concern develops systems for engines (both gasoline and diesel), brake systems, chassis components, body electronics and vehicle electronics solutions, steering systems and many others. Bosch also has a very wide range of power tools. Among them you can find products of the concern's own brand, as well as Skil and Dremel equipment. Bosch distributes e.g. high-quality mechanical garden tools, DIY tools (designed for both professionals and amateurs) and various types of accessories. The company's offer also includes products from the heating technology department (e.g. heating, gas, oil boilers and water heaters sold under the Junkers and Buderus brand), household appliances, as well as advanced technological solutions for industry (security systems, control drives and other ). Bosch products have always been characterized by innovation. The company was the first to introduce gasoline injectors and lambda probes. The company's pioneering ideas also include various types of solutions that increase the safety of driving a car - for example, ABS and EPS systems.
