Intended use
The PCS-517 time relay is used for time control in industrial and home automation systems. Thanks to the extensive work functions, one- and two-time, contained in the processor's memory, they allow the elimination of complicated and expensive control systems based on the compilation of many ordinary time relays. Unlike potentiometer relays, they allow for very precise setting of switching times, e.g. 3h - 47min - 19sec. Operation
The relay performs one of the set work functions according to the set times.
Functions 1÷5 are activated with the supply voltage. When the function is completed, END will appear on the display. The next execution of the function will start after switching off and reconnecting the supply voltage or “restarting”
Functions 6÷17 are activated by the START control signal. After switching on the supply voltage, the relay is ready to perform the work function. ON will appear on the display. After giving the START signal, the relay starts the function. After completion, it returns to the ready state (waiting for the next START signal).
Function 18 - is activated by the START control signal. After switching on the supply voltage, the relay is ready to perform the work function. ON will appear on the display. After giving the START signal, the relay starts the function. When finished, END will appear on the display. The relay does not respond to subsequent START signals. The next execution of the function will start after switching off and reconnecting the supply voltage or “restarting” processor. Note!
* Turning off the power supply during the work function causes the relay to stop working. The contact will remain
 disconnected (pos.1-6). Turning the power on again will start the function from the beginning.
* Pressing the RESTART button during the execution of the work function causes the function to start from the beginning.
