The STV D02 fuse switch disconnector is a device with a replaceable fuse-link
that protects electrical installations. It allows you to use (similarly to the VL
D01 disconnector) operational advantages of the D0 fuse system. Principles of operation of the STV D02 disconnector - In order to replace a burnt-out fuse-link, pull the disconnector's lever down (which will disconnect the circuit), then pull out the drawer and take out the burnt-out fuse-link. After pulling out the drawer with the fuse link, we get a visible insulating break in the circuit. In this way, the disconnector can perform the function of the main protection (for example: pre-meter) and the main circuit breaker.
Advantages:
→ allows you to replace a blown fuse-link
without the risk of touching
live parts,
→ there is no need to use a fuse head;
proper contact of the fuse-link is ensured
by an appropriate system of spring terminals
→ possibility of connecting power supply both “from above“ like
and “from below”
→ sealable in on and off position róalso
without fuse-link inserted,
→ operating categories: AC 22B, AC 23B (35A), DC 22B,
→ Rated short-circuit capacity [kA]: 50,
→ 1-pole version, 2p, 3p, 1p+N, 3p+N,
→ rated current depending on inserts from 2 to 63A,
→ the use of a disconnector with a insert enables selective cooperation with overcurrent circuit breakers.
