Staircase timer is used to keep the lighting of corridors, staircases, or other objects on for a specified time, after which the lighting will be turned off automatically. Operation:
On by momentary (bell) switch the staircase timer maintains the lighting for the time set with the potentiometer (from 0.5 min. to 10 min.), after which the lighting brightness is reduced by half for about 30 seconds. Only after this time the lighting will be turned off completely (sudden darkness is avoided, there is still time to reach the switch safely). During reduced brightness, another signal from the switch will turn on the lighting to full brightness. The anti-blocking function does not allow for continuous lighting of the lighting after the staircase switch is blocked, i.e. after blocking the switch (e.g. with a match), the automatic device will measure the set time and turn off the lighting. The lighting can be switched on again after removing the lock.
NOTE!
AS-222T cannot work with fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps and other lamps with electronic starters. AS-222T cannot work with backlit switches.
