The air quality sensor measures the current air quality and transmits this information in the form of a 0-10VDC analog value (the lower the value, the better the air quality). Unlike other sensors (e.g. CO2 sensor, it only measures CO2 nothing else) the mixed gas sensor can record a wide spectrum of gases and vapors. In this way, body odors, tobacco, fumes from the floor or furniture, cleaning agents, etc. can be recorded and, for example, the ventilation can be switched on. To integrate an air quality sensor into an Eaton radio system, the sensor must be connected to a 2-band analog input (109372). The sensor's 24VDC power supply also comes from the 2-way analog input (Note: pay attention to the correct wiring and setting on the analog input!)
