Application
Cam switches are electric rotary multi-circuit switches adapted to switch on and off currents . Cam switches are used in low voltage electrical installation circuits, especially as circuit breakers, disconnectors, switches and control switches. Cam switches can be installed indoors (pollution degree 3 - industrial use) at temperatures from -40 to +70°C. Cam switches
meet the requirements of PN-EN60947-3, IEC 60947-3. In addition, they can work in environmental conditions specified in the standards IEC 60068-2-6 (vibration), IEC 60068-2-27 (shock), IEC 60068-2-2 (dry heat), IEC 60068-2-1 (cold), IEC 60068-2-30 (damp heat), IEC 60068-2-52 (salt mist).

Segment construction of switches with double cams enables the creation of any switching programs as a function of the position of the drive knob. By using a selected number of toothed racks in the drive mechanism, angles of the handwheel pitch of 30°, 45° or 90° can be obtained, e.g. at 30° it gives us a maximum of 12 positions of the handwheel. In addition, SK switch disconnectors are characterized by small dimensions, IP20 protection degree increasing the safety of the installer"
