Wird am häufigsten zur Wiederherstellung der Kabelisolierung an Mittelspannungsverbindungen, zur Wasserabdichtung von Kabeln, Telekommunikations- oder RTV-Drähten und elektrischen Geräten verwendet. Es wird auch zum Schutz von Stahlelementen vor Korrosion verwendet.
