Syringe with Alu-Plus contact paste

Advantages of Alu-Plus contact paste:

• It removes the oxide layer when the wire is jammed.
• Prevents re-oxidation of the contact point.
• Prevents electrolytic corrosion between aluminum and copper conductors (within one connector).
• Provides long-term corrosion protection.

In the case of spring connections using the CAGE CLAMP® aluminium conductor should be cleaned and immediately afterwards connected to a terminal filled with “Alu-Plus&ldquo contact paste ;.

In the case of spring connections using the PUSH WIRE®    recommendation to clean the aluminum wire first, and then connect it to the terminal filled with “Alu contact paste -Plus“.

WAGO's Alu-Plus contact paste can also be additionally applied to the entire surface of the aluminum conductor before connection.

remember to adjust the rated currents to the lower current carrying capacity of aluminum wires according to the following relationship:
2.5 mm² = 16 A
4 mm² = 22 A
