Surge Arrester Type 1
• For potential equalization in lightning protection according to VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305)
• Surge current carrying capacity of 50 kA (10/350) per pole and up to 125 kA (10/350) total
• Follow current extinguishing capacity 25 kA Ipeak, arrester back-up protection from 500 A gL/gG
• For use in the pre-meter area in accordance with VDEW guidelines
• Closed, blown-out spark gap, zinc oxide based varistor arrester for use in switchgear enclosures
Application: Industrial installations and buildings with the highest lightning protection level: I to IV
