Thermal bimetallic motor circuit breakers

Motor circuit breakers in which the bimetal deforms under the influence of the overload current, causing the circuit breaker to trip. Motor circuit breakers are low voltage devices designed to protect against the effects of overloads and short circuits. These types of switches are also used to manually start and stop motors. They provide instant response in the event of a short-circuit, shutting down the motor in a few milliseconds.
