RCDs with protection
The residual current circuit breaker is used to switch off the circuit when a dangerous touch voltage appears that may cause an electric shock. The fuse checks the difference (hence the name) between the current flowing into it and the current flowing out - if the value of the difference is greater than the set value (e.g. 30 mA), the circuit is opened and the voltage stops flowing.
The category includes RCDs with an additional overcurrent circuit breaker module.
