Non-integrated compact fluorescent lamps
Non-integrated compact fluorescent lamps are energy-saving light sources (compared to classic incandescent lamps, they save up to 80% of energy). Unlike their counterparts of the integrated type, they do not have a built-in ballast, so they require a luminaire with a suitable socket and ballast. The compact fluorescent lamp of the non-integrated type can be powered by a magnetic ballast or an electronic ballast. Due to e.g. to the mercury content, used lamps should be returned to the appropriate point or left in the store when buying new ones.
