The MZC-310S meter, in addition to measurements in receiving networks (for short-circuit loop impedance measurements, a resolution of 0.01 Ω is sufficient), offers short-circuit loop impedance measurements with a resolution of 0.1 mΩ; which allows for accurate measurement also in circuits where very high values of short-circuit currents may occur (in distribution and receiving networks protected by high-current circuit breakers). The accuracy of the measurement is ensured by the four-wire method and the flow of the test current in the 150/280 A pulse.
Measurements of very low short-circuit loop impedance (with a resolution of 0.1 mΩ) with a current of 150 A at 230 V; maximum 280 A at 440 V or measurements with a current of 23 A at 230 V, maximum 42 A at 440 V.
