Product description
Bipolar voltage indicator Sonel P- 6 is a reliable, extremely durable and safe tester that allows you to check voltage, circuit continuity and phase sequence. It has been designed to work in the toughest conditions, both industrial and commercial. Advanced technology, high-level safety and ease of use are the key features of the P-6 device.
Key features and attributes of the P-6 device
Checking operation of residual current circuit breakers
In response to the needs of customers, the new series of P voltage indicators allows you to test RCDs in a fully controlled way. Using the buttons on both probes, the user lowers the internal impedance of the device, which enables safe tripping of the circuit breaker. In addition, pressing both buttons activates an additional load in the form of a vibrating motor. When the voltage is checked, it allows to eliminate stray currents affecting the measurement result.
Durability and comfort of use
The housing of the device is designed in such a way that way to enable work in difficult industrial conditions, where the use of personal protective equipment is required, including insulating gloves. At the same time, the ergonomic shape allows the device to be operated with one hand when testing voltage in standard electrical sockets.
Multitasking and safety
Voltage indicators are equipped with a set of endsó measuring cases. They restrict access to the metal blade to 4 mm, which reduces the risk of accidentally touching another conductor during harness testing. Additional screw-on tips allow you to increase the diameter of the blades to 4 mm. This is especially important when measurements are carried out in electrical sockets, where the user needs to be sure that contact is maintained between the device and the conductor. The whole set is housed in a special container, which guarantees access to the tips at any time. In addition, the container has a tab useful for opening the security devices in British sockets.
