System D fuse-links are designed to be replaced by lay people (mainly for household and similar applications). They are used to protect power installations against the effects of short circuits and overloads and to protect against electric shock. System D includes the entire range of five physical sizes DI, DII, DIII, DIV, DV of fuse links, ceramic and plastic sockets, and necessary accessories - heads, calibrated links, etc. D fuse links are made for Voltage [V]: voltages AC 500, 690, 750V and 1200V and DC 250V, 440V, 600V and have a rated breaking capacity of 50kA at AC current and 8kA at DC current. These fuse links have a colored operating indicator visible when the links are mounted in the fuse head and fuse base.
Advantages:
→ high Rated short-circuit capacity [kA]:,
→ slow (gL-gG) and fast (gF) characteristics,
→ wide range of rated currents from 2 to 200 A,
→ new rated currents 32A and 40A,
→ various types of incoming and outgoing terminals in sockets,
→ sockets with a TH rail holder.
