Electric shock switches
The residual current circuit breaker is used to switch off the circuit when a dangerous touch voltage appears that may cause an electric shock. The fuse checks the difference (hence the name) between the current flowing into it and the current flowing out - if the value of the difference is greater than the set value (e.g. 30 mA), the circuit is opened and the voltage stops flowing.
Category including fire protection switches (residual current > 100mA).
