Multifunctional meter of electrical installation parameters Sonel MPI-506 is a unique model of a handheld meter used to perform precise measurements of electrical installation parameters. In its neat and small dimensions, the meter hides a wealth of measurement functions. An additional advantage of this device is its extremely handy and ergonomic form, which facilitates carrying and increases the comfort of work.

The Sonel MPI-506 meter is one of the smallest multifunctional measuring instruments on the market, it surprises with intuitive operation and extensive capabilities. It is a versatile device that is ready to work in all conditions. Developed for specialists in the installation and electrical industries, as well as for professional measuring technicians.

With this instrument, it is possible to perform basic measurements of various types, including the measurement of parameters in the short-circuit loop, insulation resistance, measurement of the resistance of protective and equipotential bonding connections, as well as testing residual current circuit breakers AC and A type. Due to its compact form and favorable price, the meter will appeal especially to novice users. Simplicity and sophistication

Probably the world's smallest meter with so many measurement functions. Their selection is carried out using a rotary switch. Additional parameters are set with buttons located on the front of the housing. The settings are remembered by the device even when the battery is completely discharged. All buttons are backlit, as is the segment display, making it easy to use in low light. Extensive memory eliminates the need to keep notes during measurements.

Installation security check

With the instrument, you can control home and industrial electrical installations in terms of safety. Its advantage is quick measurement (several seconds!) of short-circuit loop impedance in circuits with RCDs.

Research can be easily automated by:

  • testing of RCDs in Auto mode,
  • using the WS type adapter to test the installation through a standard 230 V socket.

Increased resistance to environmental conditions

The meter will cope well in harsh environmental conditions. Protection against dust and water ingress is provided by a casing with an IP67 tightness level.

Communications and software

You can transfer measurement data to a computer using Bluetooth wireless communication. In order to generate a test report in the field of electric shock protection, use the Sonel Electrical Measurements program.
