Scope of application

• Photovoltaic systems, DC voltage up to 1800 V for burial
• For wiring between solar modules or as an extension cable between individual strings of modules or for AC/DC converter
• For free cabling or building-integrated photovoltaic installations
• Underground use inside conduits/ducts. It can be laid in the ground in the case of: (1) safe drainage of water from the outer surface of the conduit, (2) laying hoses / channels in a professionally made cable trench with at least 50 cm of backfill soil (70 cm under roads), warning tape above the covering with a plastic plate, above a layer of at least 10 cm of covering sand, above a pipe/duct laid on a bed layer of at least 10 cm (cf. VDE 0891-6, section 4.2)
