Fire-resistant power cables have an E30 function preservation class, which corresponds to a 30-minute power supply or control in fire conditions. They are designed to supply loads in buildings and facilities with increased fire protection requirements, due to the concentration of people, fixed and cultural assets of high value (skyscrapers, hospitals, shopping centers, tunnels, museums, cinemas, theaters). The cables can be used to power and control receivers (lighting, elevators, fire protection devices, pumps). They are intended for permanent use inside buildings. In the case of outdoor applications, the cables must be protected against ultraviolet radiation and the influence of external factors. Cables with maintenance of electrical functions E30 must be installed on appropriate support systems tested in accordance with DIN 4102-12.
