The ETIMAT T power limiter (overcurrent circuit breaker) is intended for installation in the switchgear as pre-meter protection. The purpose of this protection is selective switching off in relation to the Z4 overcurrent protection of the recipient. The rated current of the ETIMAT T power limiter is matched to the connection/contractual power of the recipient. ETIMAT T power limiters in terms of their rated currents replace selective circuit breakers. The ETIMAT T power limiter is an overcurrent circuit breaker without a short-circuit element and has only an overload (thermal) element. Sealed circuit breaker (blocked access to its current terminals) is installed in the switchgear so that its driving lever is available to the recipient, who in the event of spontaneous activation due to exceeding the connection capacity or for other reasons, can independently switch it on without summoning the power company team.
