Twilight switch:
Light intensity is measured by an external light sensor. The twilight switch turns on or off the current circuit, depending on the set threshold.

Twilight switch integrated in the timer:
The timer is used to determine the enabling times for the twilight switch. During the release time, the output is turned on only when the measured brightness is below the set value. If the measured brightness exceeds the set value or the timer is outside the release time, the output is turned off.
