The MST-01 E2024 microprocessor switch allows you to connect two signal sources to one TV receiver head and manually switch between them using any infrared remote control. Thanks to the high separation of inputs, programs from both sources can be distributed on adjacent channels or even on the same channels. For example, the device can be used in the case of selecting a signal from the cable network and terrestrial television. It happens more and more often that a terrestrial transmitter (e.g. DVB-T) is switched on on the same channel on which the program in the cable network is distributed. The second application scenario is a situation in which the DVB-T signal is received in a border area from several transmitters emitting a signal on the same or adjacent channels. In this case, the use of an antenna diplexer will not give the desired effect. The MST-01 is controlled by means of an infrared beam from any remote control of a TV, DVD, SAT receiver, etc. Switching takes place after holding down any key on the remote control for 3 seconds. It is recommended to use function keys that do not change the receiver settings. A 12V power supply with a minimum 100mA jack plug must be purchased with the device.
