The PZ-832 relay is used to detect the presence of electrically conductive liquids at the levels of installed flood probes. The relay maintains the level of the controlled liquid within the designated minimum and maximum states. After the liquid level drops to the MIN state (the MIN and COM electrodes are open), the MIN contact will be switched to position 17-16 (FILLING operation), and the MAX contact remains in position 21-22. After reaching the MAX state (MAX and COM electrodes shorted), the MIN relay contact is switched to position 17-18 (DRAINING operation), and the MAX contact to position 21-20. Alarm state: ALMIN (DRY RUNNING state) - after the liquid level drops to the ALMIN level (ALMIN and COM electrodes open), the ALMIN contact will be switched to position 12-11; ALMAX (OVERFLOW state) - after reaching the ALMAX state (ALMAX and COM electrodes shorted), the ALMAX relay contact is switched to position 15-14. Each of the states, i.e. the appropriate level probe is shorted with the COM probe, is signaled by the lighting of the appropriate LED on the front of the relay. The yellow MIN LED lights up to indicate the FILLING status.
