Intended use
The phase loss sensor is designed to protect the motor power supply from a three-phase network in the event of a voltage failure in at least one phase, symmetrical voltage drop in three phases or voltage asymmetry between phases, which may damage the motor, and protection of the direction of rotation in the event of a change in the phase sequence in front of the sensor.
Action
Voltage decay in at least one, any phase or Trip voltage asymmetry [V] between phases above the set threshold will cause the motor to be switched off. The motor will also be switched off in the event of a symmetrical drop in phase-to-phase voltage in all three phases below 320V. The shutdown will take place with a delay set by the user (0, 2÷5sec). Reactivation will take place automatically when the asymmetry drops by 5V below the set threshold (i.e. by the value of the voltage hysteresis). With the above anomalies, starting the engine is impossible. In the event of a change in the sequence of phases before the sensor, causing an undesirable change in the direction of rotation of the motor, the sensor will not allow the motor to start. Reactivation is possible after the return of the correct phase sequence.
