Aluminum cable lugs are used to terminate round and sector aluminum conductors. They increase the safety and durability of the connection, e.g. by reducing the phenomenon of overheating of wires and wire insulation, which occurs, for example, in the case of soldering the terminals. For operation in difficult weather conditions (humidity, fog, etc.), with long-term and high current loads and with paper-insulated cables, we recommend DKAp sealed terminals. They guarantee even greater security of the connection and a blockade against the migration of saturation of paper-insulated cables.

Assembly

In order to permanently fix the terminal, it should be pressed using a suitable press (in the case of sector cores, the core must first be reshaped into a round shape).

Compliance with the DIN 46 329 standard applies to the tubular part and foot dimensions. DIN 46 329 does not cover cross-sections of 16 mm2 and 625 mm2

Material: aluminum pipes and bars drawn in the recrystallized state in the E-Al grade according to PN-EN 573-3. Inside the DKA and DKAp terminals there is a contact paste that improves the quality of the connection. To ensure proper plasticity of the contact paste, each tip is packed in a separate foil bag.
